Mr Maurice Lubansky, a tailor by trade, has been head of what is now Stafford Group since 1946.
Following three and a half years service with Royal Australian Air Force during World War II, the Lubansky family pooled resources to purchase a small menswear company.
Over the ensuring 60 + years, the Stafford Group grew into one of the Australia’s largest manufacturers of tailored clothing. Mr Lubansky has therefore a lifetime of experience in fine craftmenship, design, development, production and retail of menswear.
Over the years Stafford Group has launched many brands, including international brands under license. It was one of the first to embrace superfine and twp-way stretch worsted fabrics.
There isn’t much Mr. Lubansky doesn’t know about menswear!
